Akshay Kumar will sue Paresh Rawal for destroying Hera Pheri 3 and want ₹25 crores in damages.

After Paresh Rawal abruptly left Hera Pheri 3, leaving fans disappointed, actor Akshay Kumar filed a 25 crore lawsuit against Rawal.

In a startling turn of events, actor Akshay Kumar, via his production company Cape of Good Films, has sent actor Paresh Rawal a legal notice demanding 25 crores in damages for acting in a terribly unprofessional manner and abandoning the film Hera Pheri 3 after entering into a contract and beginning production.

Last week, Paresh announced his departure from the cult comedy in the media. We know that he did not "feel like" appearing in the movie at this time, even though the explanation was unclear. For the millions of Hera Pheri devotees, this has caused waves of disappointment.

Notably, the film's main performers, Akshay, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh, started filming in April of this year under seasoned director Priyadarshan. After lawfully purchasing the rights from producer Feroz Nadiadwala, Akshay is also the producer of Hera Pheri 3. Following reports that speculated on the cause of his abrupt resignation, Rawal had made it clear that neither financial gain nor artistic disagreements were the cause of his choice. According to sources, Rawal received more than three times his normal rate for this one.

Paresh showed a flagrant lack of regard for business ethics or professional integrity. A person with knowledge of the legal processes in the case stated, "He should have informed the producer that he did not want to do the film before accepting the signing sum, signing the contract, and forcing the producer to spend so much money on the shoot."

Rawal's actions are not funny to fans of the Hera Pheri series, which has the distinction of being extremely popular on social media, as a meme. "In January, Paresh himself announced that he was working on the movie on his X handle. He voluntarily took part in all pre-production planning and shot for a day, including the teaser promo." The source continues, "It is obviously in bad faith for him to suddenly play with the emotions of the fans of this franchise and inflict losses on the producer when he never expressed dissatisfaction at any point."
